cursive on letterman
this just recently came to my attention. it's pretty neat seeing a band on national tv that I used to see almost every month back in my early college years.

jolie holland in blurt tv studios
this is a few months old, but it's new to me. Jolie has the best female vocals. If you haven't heard "The Living an the Dead" I highly recommend picking it up. It features guitar work from two of my favorites: Marc Ribot & M. Ward. This song is off that album... it's called "Palmyra"

ryan adams
Wife and I have tickets to see Ryan Adams/Cardinals in KC MO on the 27th of this month. I'm pretty excited. I feel like he's been pretty consistently awesome with the Cardinals so it'll be fun to see it live. While searching for video in anticipation for the show I found this video of "Let it Ride" done acoustically (one of my favorite tunes of his) and really liked this rendition.

smart investing series
